About

The MSP workspace that should already exist.

We build Vectis for the MSP running five tools to answer one question. The product is opinionated, single-tenant per MSP, and self-serve.

Why we built it

Five tools, one customer.

Every MSP we know runs the same shape of stack. A PSA for tickets and contracts. An RMM for endpoints and monitoring. One or two backup vendors for cloud and on-prem. A billing system. A documentation tool. Each of those vendors has built a competent product for its slice of the problem, and none of them have built the connective tissue.

So an MSP’s real operating system is the tab switcher. A ticket comes in for “Acme” and the tech opens the PSA to read it, the RMM to see whether there’s a related alert on Acme’s servers, the backup console to check last night’s job, the billing page to remember which plan Acme is on, and the documentation site to look up Acme’s warranty. None of those tools know the others exist. The MSP is the index.

Vectis is the missing index. One customer view that pulls from every connected system, with the actions inline so the work happens in one place. The product is built for the MSP between ten and two hundred technicians — past the all-in-one stage, below the IT-platform RFP cycle. That’s a deliberate scope choice. We will not chase both shoulders of the curve.

How we ship

In the open.

The changelog is the receipt — every release notes the connectors that moved, the bugs that closed, and the features that landed. If a vendor’s API gained a verb we can wire up, the next changelog says so. If a connector is still spec-validated and waiting on first-customer traffic, the integration page says so. The marketing copy does not get to claim what the code has not shipped.

Feedback goes to a real inbox we read. Our first design partner is an MSP owner running fifty-plus environments who has the patience to tell us when a workflow is backwards, and who has nothing else to gain from the relationship. Their job has been to push back, and they have. Most of the sharper edges in the product exist because they sent an email about them.

We are not the right tool for every MSP. The ten-technicians-and-an-all-in-one stack does not have the cross-tool correlation problem yet. The two-hundred-plus stack is buying a procurement deck, not a self-serve workspace. Both are fine outcomes for those buyers. The MSPs in between are who we build for.
