Asset lifecycle integration

ScalePad Lifecycle Manager logo

Vectis + ScalePad Lifecycle Manager.

Warranty expiry, purchase date, and end-of-life data from ScalePad — on every device in the customer hub, regardless of which RMM manages it.

Read-onlyVectis syncs from this tool. Inline write-back is not supported by the vendor's documented API surface.
Vectis customer hub devices tab with ScalePad Lifecycle Manager warranty and OS-EOL badges surfaced per asset — refresh-pipeline events visible inline against the device inventory.

What Vectis syncs

The read side of the adapter.

ScalePad clients map onto Vectis customer accounts on first sync (auto-matched to your PSA companies by name), and from there Vectis pulls every hardware asset with its warranty expiry date, purchase date, and warranty tier. End-of-life status syncs per device as reported by ScalePad. Serial-number-based warranty enrichment writes back to NinjaOne, Kaseya, N-able, and Atera assets so the lifecycle data is consistent across every RMM Vectis touches.

What you can do

The write side of the adapter.

ScalePad is a read-from-ScalePad, write-into-RMM adapter: Vectis doesn't modify anything inside ScalePad, but it does enrich your RMM assets with ScalePad-verified warranty dates by serial number on every sync. The customer hub shows each device's warranty status, purchase date, and estimated refresh value next to PSA tickets and RMM alerts; devices past standard lifespan or within 90 days of warranty expiry fire lifecycle-engine events automatically — no manual export needed.

Honest about the limits

What we don’t do, and why.

ScalePad's list endpoints don't support incremental filters, so every Vectis sync is a full pull of all clients and hardware assets. That's a vendor-API constraint, not a Vectis choice; expect sync times to grow linearly with fleet size on multi-thousand-asset tenants. The warranty write-back to NinjaOne, Kaseya, N-able, and Atera uses serial number as the match key — devices with unknown or duplicate serials don't get enriched (Vectis logs the gap rather than silently picking a winner).

How it correlates

One customer, every tool.

ScalePad Lifecycle Manager on the customer account hub alongside every other system you run — not a standalone dashboard. A few of the most common shapes this takes:

Accurate warranty dates across every RMM

ScalePad sources warranty data directly from manufacturer APIs. After the sync, each device in Vectis shows the ScalePad-verified expiry date — not an estimate from the RMM agent. Devices expiring in the next 90 days surface in the lifecycle module automatically.

Refresh planning without a separate ScalePad tab

The customer hub shows each device's warranty status, purchase date, and estimated refresh value alongside PSA tickets and RMM alerts. When a device is past standard lifespan or within 90 days of warranty expiry, the lifecycle engine fires an event — no manual export needed.

One lifecycle view, four RMMs

ScalePad warrant enrichment updates NinjaOne, Kaseya, N-able, and Atera assets by serial number in a single sync. A refresh report across your full fleet doesn't require running four separate RMM reports — it comes from the Vectis asset table with ScalePad dates on every row.

Setup snapshot

What connecting looks like.

ScalePad's setup is one of the lightest in Vectis — head to Manage your account → API → + New API key in ScalePad and generate a dedicated key for Vectis. Copy the key into Vectis; ScalePad is SaaS-only with a fixed endpoint, so no region or tenant URL is needed. Vectis tests with a paginated clients query before saving so a typo'd key fails fast. The first sync pulls every client and hardware asset end-to-end; subsequent syncs are full pulls because ScalePad's list endpoints don't support incremental filters. Warranty dates write back to matching RMM assets (NinjaOne, Kaseya, N-able, Atera) by serial number on every sync.
